Blue Wave People rock!

People are wearing blue ribbons to signify their commitment to the water. A quiet day at the site. Some bales of hay accidentally fell in front of Gate 1, then it was decided they shouldn’t be there, so a couple of our guys lifted them out of the way. A nice moment: Firekeeper John Hawk and Rev. David Black of Ebenezer United Church, shaking hands, and holding the pose to be sure the OPP surveillance unit got the picture. Environment Minister John Gerretsen is the guy who gets the message today in our letter-writing campaign. Emails, phone numbers and mailing addresses for all politicians are under the Links section of this website.

I think the Blue Wave ribbons are a great idea!
On my way home from the rally on Saturday I stopped and bought a whole roll of blue ribbon and handed out quite a few to people at church on Sunday.
I also bought a sign at the rally and put it up on a telephone pole right next to the road in front of my place in the village of Edgar together with some blue ribbons to draw attention.
So if you drive by..give a honk.
