Guergis is, has always been and always will be a LIAR! He has betrayed his constituents. I wish he could be impeached for breaking his most important campaign promise that got him elected in the first place.
This does not come as a suprise. These guys will promise anything to get in and then flip once in. I hope that at the next election whoever supported site 41 will not receive one vote. It is to bad they cannot be charged or booted out when they lie like that. The site will fail if constructed and our water will be lost forever as it did in Penetanguishene.
Tony the obnoxious liar, paid lip service to the residents of Simcoe County and won their votes. He now must live with the fact that he is responsible for poisoning his grandchildren’s drinking water. What a legacy he leaves! The others across the region who voted to go ahead with the dump plan as well must resolve to the fact that they are solely responsible for the contaminated water source that they leave for their future generations!
It is obvious that this Man,Tony Guergis, has no morals and is a total disgrace to the platform that got him elected. He Obviously has no qualms about betraying his constituents. Hopefully,in the next election, His false words will fall on deaf ears and God willing, He will receive the first drink of tainted water that he swore to protect
I believe its about time, that all levels of Gouvernment, realize the PEOPLE have spoken, over a period of 20 years, they DO NOT want this site as a garbage dump, how clear can we be, THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN and we expect are thoughts to be takend seriously.
If the voices of the people of Simcoe county and the rest of the country who oppose this monstrosity are not heard, and the Government (for the people) goes ahead by hook or by crook and opens this dump. Let all those who voted in favour of dumpsite 41 be held, legally responsible, and let it be transferable to their future generations. Also, let there be a monument placed at the gates of the dumpsite with the names of all Simcoe County Councillors, Ontario Members of Parliament, and Federal Government Officials, who supported the opening of this dump.
Have Tony Guergis’ Name in Bold at the top of the list. He should be branded a Traitor.
I am not shocked at this dishonesty at all…any person that cheats on their wife, the single largest committment that a person makes in their lifetime, would find it easy to lie to others…
